Product Profile
Product Overview
Capacitor porcelain sleeves are key components used in power capacitors, pulse capacitors, coupling capacitors, and capacitive voltage transformers, serving as insulating supports for leads or as external insulating containers.
Product Usage
Capacitor porcelain sleeves are mainly used in pulse, voltage-balancing, coupling capacitors, and capacitive voltage transformers as external insulating containers. According to the connection structure of the sleeve, they can be divided into clamp-type and glue-mounted types.
Structure and Performance Assurance
The inner and outer surfaces of the porcelain parts are coated with brown glaze. The sleeve’s umbrella-type design is open with alternating umbrellas. The porcelain is made from high-strength material with a relatively high alumina content, providing good mechanical strength and thermal stability, ensuring excellent internal water pressure resistance, bending strength, and long-term operational reliability. To ensure airtightness, the ends of the porcelain are precisely ground, achieving a roughness of Ra1.6 and a parallelism of 0.15. For pressurized sleeves, to prevent water and moisture from entering the flange and cement adhesive, the flange opening is coated with waterproof silicone rubber, which avoids additional thermal stress caused by freezing in cold regions. Flanges can be made from hot-dip galvanized ductile cast iron or high-strength aluminum alloy, depending on product requirements. Before shipment, all products undergo inspection for dimensions, geometric tolerances, and creepage distance. Each porcelain part is also ultrasonically tested, subjected to routine hydrostatic and four-way bending tests, and mechanical strength and porcelain quality are checked through sample inspection from each kiln batch.
