There are a few methods for connecting the transformer leads to the bushing:

(1)Rod connection: The ends of the wires are made of 0.3mm thick purple copper strips. One end is welded to the copper and wire, and the other end is soldered. There are holes on it to pass through the conductive rod of the bushing. Flexible connectors and the conductive rod are fastened with screws. Rod connections are suitable for medium and small current transformer bushings up to 40kV.

(2)Plate connection: The ends of the leads are also soft copper connectors, but the holes on the copper strip are made differently. The flexible connector is bolted to the wiring plate of the conductive rod. Plate connections are suitable for high current transformer bushings up to 40kV.

(3)Cable-through connection: The end of the wire is a purple copper rod with a screw, welded to the flexible wire with copper solder. The wire is passed through the hollow conductive tube in the bushing and screwed into the terminal at the top of the bushing, completing the connection. Cable-through connections are suitable for all types of bushings above 40kV.
